Welcome to our Woodend Primary School family.
This is a very exciting time; new people to meet, new things to achieve and learn. For most, it is the beginning of a seven-year adventure and to those who are coming to us from another school, a shorter learning adventure.
Each one of you is important to us – students and parents. We try very hard to provide a caring environment where each child feels safe and is encouraged to challenge themselves. We pride ourselves on the fact that each member of our staff is highly skilled, caring, capable and approachable.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school. Your school zone is determined based on your permanent residential address.
Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their local school. Students may enrol at another school if there are available places.

If you are unable to attend a planned tour, please contact the office on 5427 2455. Please note students are able to apply for a place at a school that is not their designated neighbourhood school.
Other year level enrolments
We also accept enrolment applications for students in other year levels. You can submit a request at any time in the school year.
Eligible students who live within our school zone are guaranteed a place, while students outside the zone may be enrolled if there are available places.
