Woodend Primary School is a dual campus school with an annexe at Carlsruhe, 7 kilometres north of Woodend. Year 4 students spend four days per week at the annexe, engaging in a curriculum focusing on sustainability, environmental awareness and animal husbandry. With a 2023 enrolment of over 419, Woodend Primary School is well-resourced and provides a broad and comprehensive curriculum, delivered by dedicated and experienced staff. Student achievement outcomes are generally at or above expectation in most areas of the curriculum and the school continually aims for the highest quality of teaching and learning.
